Session Description:
Helping Hispanic families overcome the challenges that come when completing a FAFSA, understanding their options to ensure they are able to afford school, and gaining trust with students and their families to ensure they utilize all possible options to afford their education goals.

Presenter Information: 

My name is Amhed Rodriguez-Saenz, I am from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, I have earned my Bachelors Degree of Science in Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juarez in June of 2006. I volunteer my spare time in a many different laboratories from Biochemistry, Genetic Engineering and I was in charge of the Paleobiology laboratory. I also earned a Masters of Arts in Education degree from University of Phoenix. My career in Financial Aid started at Wyotech, EDMC, Pima Medical Institute and Brookline College which gave me 16 years of experience in financial aid. I started at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in January of 2023 as a Sr. Student Services Specialist.  I live in the city of Maricopa, AZ since 2009 and I been married for over 16 years. I have three boys 15, 10 and 8, I enjoy collecting fossils and insects, my favorite activities are going to the zoo, visiting science museums and playing video games.
