HELP!! We are buried under your responses!!!
In late January, we announced the two AASFAA workshops, designed to
be one-day mini conferences. The first was held February 26 at the
Art Institute in Phoenix. The second and final workshop for this year is
slated for April 14th at the Community Campus of Pima Community College.
For those of you who received the postcard, please note the date correction of April 14, 2004.
To be honest, your responses overwhelmed our expectations, as well as our plans for space and
support services at the Phoenix training site. Within four days of
our initial e-mail to the membership, we had 72 registrations, with
a yet-to-be defined number of registration requests we hope to honor.
What a wonderful problem to have - an overwhelming number of requests!
For those of you who have not yet registered and would like to join us, please consider attending in
Tucson. Our agenda at this session will be the same as the Phoenix and Flagstaff sessions and
will include:
-
Taking the Bite out of Irate Students
-
Time Management
-
Supervision
-
Where is it written - on the Internet
-
Arizona: Political Terrain of Financial Aid
-
Verification (core skillset)
The training session will begin at 8:30 A.M and will include
breakfast, lunch and snacks to all registrants. We expect the session
to end around 3:30 P.M.
You can now register for this workshop by visiting the AASFAA
website at www.aasfaa.org. We encourage you to watch for future
announcements and take advantage of our new technology.
