Awards & Certificates
The Awards & Scholarship Committee had the pleasure to present the Robert Thompson Memorial Leadership Award to Dan Melosi, Western Regional Manager for Educaid, at the Spring Conference. Over the past 18 years, Dan has served AASFAA in various Board Positions, including Vice President, as well as chairing or co-chairing almost every AASFAA Committee. He has been known to us as Groucho, Captain Riker, and Elvis and together with Gene Berg, the other 2001-2002 Leadership award winner has been the life of many AASFAA parties! Please join us in congratulating and showing our appreciation to Dan for commitment and Leadership to AASFAA that this award exemplifies.

Applications for the 2002-2003 Robert Thompson Memorial Leadership Award and the John Medley Advocacy Award are now being solicited. The application form and criteria can be found in this issue of the Advocate.
