AASFAA is pleased to provide scholarships to attend events for education, inspiration, federal updates and networking. Each scholarship provides free registration, reimbursement for event hotel and (except for the AASFAA annual conference) travel to and from the event up to a specified amount. The deadline for applying for a scholarship is 60 days prior to the start of the event.
Each scholarship recipient is required to write an article for the AASFAA newsletter THE ADVOCATE (i.e. experience at the event, benefits of being a scholarship recipient, etc.). Articles are to be submitted with the request for reimbursement using the Travel & Expense Reimbursement Form available on the AASFAA website in the online forms section.
Scholarship winners are responsible for current WASFAA membership dues for the WASFAA events. Preference will be given to an individual that has never attended the event to allow a greater number of persons to experience AASFAA and WASFAA events.

- Must have prior approval from supervisor.
